5 weeks of no climbing! My legs want to run and my arms want to pull, resting and taking it easy for this long can't be good... Or maybe it's a very useful skill to learn?? Anyway I can't wait to start climbing, hopefully, soon again. We will see after my next follow up at the Hospital this Wednesday!
However, after staying at the hospital it's easy to understand that life could be much worse and maybe I should be very grateful for how otherwise healthy I am. Honestly, a few weeks of resting every now and then in a life time isn't too bad when looking at it with a bit of perspective.
My end of year exams are coming up very soon, so at least I'm occupied with something :)
After having my first week in school after the illness I must say I'm very pleased to be back. I don't like being home doing nothing!
The first few days were very exhausting; I was tired and just walking up the stairs in normal speed felt like running a marathon. So I took it easy, tried to not walk fast or hurry too much. I must say even if I'm still taking it easy it feels better now, I also feel more optimistic to a speedy recover than in the beginning of the week when I felt like 90 year old man walking around ;-).
It's just to keep on relaxing and hopefully sooner than expected be back training again!
Marmot has now open a new colourful store in London!
It doesn't matter if you are looking for something that will help you to push your limits in the mountains or just looking for a jacket to keep you dry and warm while walking to the bus stop every morning the store will have something that suits your needs. It covers a full range of woman, men and children clothing and also a great deal of hardware.
